Privacy Policy

Snap It with Sedio (“we,” “us,” or “Chad”) provides online and in-person baseball and softball hitting instruction, including video swing review, courses, and messaging. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

  • Account details— name, email address, and optionally the player's age and level, provided when you sign up.
  • Coaching content — swing videos, photos, voice notes, and messages you send through the app, plus the feedback and breakdowns Chad sends back.
  • Payment information — if you purchase a membership, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number; we only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded.
  • Notification & technical data — if you turn on phone notifications, we store a notification token so we can alert you to new messages. We also use basic information needed to keep the app working.

How we use your information

  • To provide hitting instruction, review swings, and give feedback.
  • To deliver courses and let you and Chad message each other.
  • To process membership payments.
  • To send notifications you've asked for (e.g. new feedback).

We do not sell your personal information or your videos, and we do not use them for advertising.

Children's privacy

We work with youth athletes. If a player is under 18, an account must be created by a parent or legal guardian, who consents to the player's use of the service. For players under 13, we comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA): we collect only the information needed to provide coaching, we keep a player's videos and messages private (visible only to the player, their family group, and Chad), and we never sell or publicly share them. A parent or guardian may review their child's information or request its deletion at any time by emailing us.

How we store and protect your data

Account data is stored with our hosting and database provider (Supabase). Videos are stored privately with our video provider (Bunny.net) and are not publicly listed. Information is encrypted in transit, and access is restricted so that one family cannot see another family's videos or messages. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Who we share with

We share information only with the service providers that make the app work — Stripe (payments), Supabase (accounts and database), Bunny.net (video hosting), and our push-notification service — and only as needed to provide the service. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Your choices and data deletion

You can request a copy or deletion of your (or your child's) account and content at any time by emailing snapitwithsedio@gmail.com. You can turn notifications off in the app at any time.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the date above when we do.
